Hello, it got cold. Luckily I have a fire, but ooft. On Tuesday I set off from Evesham and have stayed at a boatyard just past town, which has been great. It's an ideal place to get on with some boat work and make a mess:

Some swans said hello, and I realised you can toast crumpets on the fire:

I started on the electronics cupboard, which is a fog-of-war jigsaw where you need to make a little progress at a time to reveal other dependencies. What I really want up is the instrument panel, but there are some finicky pieces of wood I need in place before I can start cutting that...

Then on Wednesday the hot water tanks arrived! Slightly uhh, bigger than I thought, and it's made it clear that I need some new stairs. I have the oak for it, but it's yet another job. Next week I'm going to do the panelling on the port side so I can position and connect the domestic tank, which finally means hot showers. I can feel it, we're getting close.

I'm currently in Wiltshire, and tomorrow I'll stop by Gloucester Docks to see what the dredging situation is (I'm not hopeful), as it'd be nice to make some progress southwards.

Until next Sunday!
