Shore things
Hello! Happy Sunday :)
It's been a programming-and-get-ready-for-the-dry-dock kinda week, so on Tuesday I ordered gallons of orange paint. I can't wait. 😈
And in another instance of "Uhh have you considered doing it yourself?", I was looking at the deck thought yes, I should absolutely do that too (it's rusty with holes in). I thought about having a marina do it, but the price was steep and they're busy. A bit of steel, cover the holes, some fresh paint; a day's work.... ahem.
Otherwise I've done more of the wiring, and the 10-tonne hydraulic crimper I got is awesome. Then the shore power inlet:

Which I'll fit properly after painting, but then I connected it and nothing worked :(
Luckily the first place I checked was also the last:

And since fixing that green lights came on:

Ish — it bulk charges okay, but the inverter/charger isn't registering the battery state so it doesn't know when to stop. Next week's debugging... and there are also too many exposed terminals for mine or anyone's liking.
Until next Sunday!
