Sink mount salvation
Hello! Happy Sunday :)
"I'll make sure it has the illusion of a straight cut" I said, about the sink cutout. That was a lie, and I spent a long ol' while sanding the edges to make it nice, which I could not. It was a complete clusterfuck, and for a hot moment I thought about getting a new slab and having a professional do it. But that would be insane, and I remembered there was a way out: mount the sink on top. You couldn't brush things nicely from the worktop, but then it'd be mounted 40mm higher for more plumbing space underneath. And it doesn't look too bad!

I also finished cutting lighting grooves underneath and for bolting the 2 pieces together, along with the routing the curved edges. One more hole for the tap, and the port side is almost done. For the starboard I still need to think about gas...
It's also starting to get cold; my neighbours lent me a radiator which heats up the front nicely, but next week I'll finally get the stove sandblasted so I can rebuild it.
Until next Sunday!
