From Germany with love
Hallo! Happy Sunday, and happy end of November.
I am currently in Berlin, and boat? No, but on Tuesday I went to Evesham marina to move my neighbours boat from the river to the service dock for craning out. It's a wide beam, and after completely screwing up the entrance (it's narrow! It's a wide boat!), I redeemed myself with a suave mooring. Bow thrusters are awesome, but sideways fighting a flowing river is like trying to steer a canoe with a fork. But it was a lovely day:

Anyway I got a new winter coat and, besides matching the boat, I also match the bins in Berlin. Here's me at Checkpoint C(harlie):

Now I was planning to reduce this cadence to monthly, leaning into winter and reading Homer, but a friend of mine pushed me to finish the year (thanks Jill!). And that's what's I'll do — finish the final 2025 boat things with 4 more weekly updates, and then I'll go down to once a month.
And tonight for the first time I’m going on a sleeper train to Brussels, increasing the number of transport modes I’ve properly slept on by 1, before heading onwards to London.
Until next Sunday!
